# Atlas Scholars

> Atlas Scholars is a Houston, Texas 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps high-potential students from under-resourced backgrounds succeed in college and launch competitive careers. It provides three paid professional summers, year-round mentorship, college preparation, and scholarships — a multi-year journey from high school through college and into a first career.

Founded in 2013 and donor-funded. Atlas Scholars holds a 100% college acceptance rate and a 100% college graduation rate. 150+ Scholars and alumni have been served, attending 40+ colleges across 19 states, with more than $850,000 in scholarships awarded. Alumni return as mentors, speakers, hosts, and donors.
